ACUPUNCTURE IN THE CITY

TUNG'S ACUPUNCTURE

Tung’s Acupuncture is painless, quick and effective acupuncture method that require less needles, and if the problem is acute, few treatments require. In Tung's acupuncture, the needles are often left in place for a longer period of time to allow for greater stimulation of the acupuncture point, which can enhance the therapeutic effects of the treatment and provide longer-lasting results. Additionally, Tung's acupuncture emphasizes the use of fewer needles, but with more precise placement, so leaving the needles in place for a longer period of time can help to maximize the therapeutic benefit of each individual needle..

Tung's style acupuncture is a unique approach to traditional Chinese acupuncture that has been gaining popularity in recent years. This style of acupuncture is named after its founder, Master Tung, who lived in Taiwan in 20th century and believed to have been developed by Tung’s ancestors traced back to the Han Dynasty. It differs from Chinese traditional acupuncture as it doesn’t apply any meridian concepts but takes it unique 500 Tung’s points.

Tung’s acupuncture is incredibly safe, with most of the points situated on the extremities. By either pushing energy towards a deficiency or pulling it from an excess, needles are never inserted directly at the site of the pain or injury. This efficient approach enables practitioners to treat numerous patients in a short amount of time, making it ideal for group or network acupuncture.

Overall, Tung's style of acupuncture is a unique and powerful approach to healing that has been passed down through generations. Whether you are dealing with chronic pain, fertility issues, or other health concerns, Tung's style of acupuncture may be a valuable tool in your journey towards better health and wellness.

ABOUT OKSANA

and her journey in acupuncture

I am a fully qualified Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and a member of the British Acupuncture Council, with five years training both in the UK and China and 20 years of experience working within the NHS and private clinics.

As a former student of western medicine, I spent five years in medical school in Ukraine. Despite the vast amount of information, I learned about how the body functions, I felt disheartened that I might not be able to provide a comprehensive therapeutic experience for my future patients. As a child, my father had introduced me to herbal and folk medicine. This knowledge helped me to understand that to truly care for our health, we must take a holistic approach that encompasses all aspects of our being, not just the physical.

This realization led me to pursue education in alternative medicine. I began my journey by apprenticing in Acupuncture with Dr. Sun-Chen-Lee, M.D. (Lviv, Ukraine), while still studying Internal Medicine at Medical School. My training continued at Westminster University, London, where I obtained my degree in TCM: Acupuncture and a post-graduate degree in Chinese Herbal Medicine in East London University, London.

My quest for knowledge took me to China, where I had the privilege of learning from Dr. Fen (Hangzhou, China), a Nine Palaces Acupuncture expert. This experience gave me a new perspective and deepened my understanding of the fundamental principles of Chinese medicine. I also learned Balance Acupuncture from Dr. Tan, which immediately improved my clinical results.

Driven by curiosity, I discovered Master Tung Acupuncture style, which I learned directly from the only Tibetan disciple of Master Tung, Dachen Palden (now Dr. Palden Carson, M.D.). He is the editor and translator of the only book written by Master Tung and the president of the World Tung's Acupuncture Association.

Since earning my degree in 2004, I have dedicated my practice to helping patients with fertility issues, disorders during pregnancy, menopause, anxiety, muscular skeletal pain, digestion problems, headaches, and migraines.

By providing holistic care that addresses all aspects of a patient's well-being, I strive to provide a transformative therapeutic experience that truly helps my patients heal.
